I am in the middle of purchasing a 570 with fel someone has butchered the steering on it does any one have a picture of how the pump is supposed to be mounted on this tractor
The previous owner told me they came off of a White 2-105. I actually prefer them to the clamshell shape mostly because the flat tops can be used to carry/balance things easier. It now makes sense what I heard about 3rd world countries and their tractors: farmers prefer tractors with flat fenders and flat hoods because people and products are more easily transported. In those countries a tractor is a multi-purpose vehicle moreso than in North America.

hey Doug550 thanks for the picture if you could give me a close up of the pump from top down so I can see how it conects to the shaft that would be great hothca
Here are some shots of the pump, not sure what shaft you meant as the pump doesn't connect to the steering shaft except via hyd hoses. I've included close ups of the pump mounting system.
