I went to replace my generator belt on my 540 and could not get it off, not enough room between pully and axle pivot. I found my front motor mount bolt and the shims missing. Does anyone have a 540? Could you measure the shim thickness or measure the distance from the rear edge of the pully to the axle pivot. On mine I cannot get the generator belt off without jacking the motor. I would like to get it as close to the proper location as possable. Any input would help Thank You!
