Cockshutt 30 with buda motor

I am told the buda motor has a problem with the block cracking between the first and second cylinder. If this is the case can these blocks be welded are fixed in any way. Thanks for any input.

When it comes to welding cast iron pre-heat and post-heat are extremely important. You need to find a shop that has the capability to do this type of job properly. There is also a process called stitching that I have heard to be a very good and strong repair. You can read more about it here.
