pto stopped working on 540 cockshutt

i was blowing snow and it stopped working without any warning ,  did this happen to anybody else any help would be appericated . it is a 1962 540 cockshutt thanks

It's been years since I have worked on one but I have had them slip but never completely quit. Sounds like your going to have to pull the unit and check it out. There is no shear pin just gears and clutch pack. If you needs parts Phil has them.

took it apart tonight it appears to be the throw out bearing assembly ,the bushing are wore out
