Gas 550, 3 pt parts

I bought a 550 last year that is rather good shape and has the 3 pt hydricks, but none of the pull, lift, and sway bars.  Know they can be purchased as rebuild but would have half the cost of the tractor invested.

I could use the full set if anyone has the set.  I have the top arm.

I also have a 540 that could be used for misqueto prevention if anyone has a good engine.  It will cost be about 1K to rebuild this one.  That is what my 20 cost and that was six years ago.

I live just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana.

I used to live on 10 th street at Danville.  I think we went to the same church.  My sons are Jerry and Chris Kerns.

I do not want to sell the 540.  Noel encouraged me to buy it

I am from Vincennes where Dad was the co-op manager.  At one time we had five cockshutt tractors.

I brought the 20 home several years ago and Noel advised me on restoring it.   I normally have it at the club show and the county fair.  So, I had the bug before I knew Noel.  Dad bought the 20 new and we used it all the time on the farm for small jobs.

I have also spent some time working with Jim Murphy, who I think you know.  He has the bug

yes I know him. I now have a 30 that I'm in the process of redoing. It runs like a top and is mechanically sound
