Chart of Model numbers

Sometime around 2004 or 2005 I remember seeing a chart on the web someplace,  outlining the model numbers that crossed over various manufacturers. For example, the Cockshutt 1370 was also the Oliver 1370 and White 1370. Whereas the Cockshutt 1350 was also the MM Jet Star 3 and possibly Oliver 1350. The chart also had hp, cu. in, # cylinders, FWA, and possibly weight. The model numbers were from 1250 to 2270. Does anyone have any idea where such a chart could be found?

Thanks

I found this information.

White Motor Company purchased Oliver Farm Equipment Corp. in 1960, Cockshutt Farm Equipment Corp. in 1962, and Minneapolis-Moline in 1963. After the purchase, White began consolidating production of the tractor brands and sold the following four Oliver models as both Oliver and M-M with the principal differences being the sheet metal, paint color, decals, and grill. These were mid-sized Oliver tractors painted MM energy yellow, decaled M-M, and also sold as Minneapolis-Moline. They were:

1970-75 Oliver 1555 = Cockshutt 1555 = MM G550, 1971 only--53 hp 232 cid
1969-75 Oliver 1655 = Cockshutt 1655 = MM G750, 1971 only--70 pto hp 265 cid gas - 283 cid diesel
1970-75 Oliver 1755 = Cockshutt 1755 = MM G850, 1971 only--86 pto hp 283 cid gas - 310 cid diesel
1969-75 Oliver 1855 = Cockshutt 1855 = MM G940, 1971 only--92 pto hp 310 cid gas - 310 turbo diesel

White also took large horsepower MM tractors and sold them as Oliver tractors with Oliver numbers and colors. These were principally Minneapolis-Moline tractors painted Oliver green with an Oliver grill and Oliver decals. In later years Oliver transmissions and differentials were used. These were:

M-M G950 = Oliver 1865 1971 only 98 pto hp MM-425 gas or 451cid diesel
M-M G1050 = Oliver 2055 1971 only 110 pto hp MM-504 cid Lp & diesel
MM-G1350 = Oliver 2155 1971 only 135 pto hp MM-504 Lp or 585 diesel
MM-A4T1400 = Oliver 2455 1969-70 139 belt hp MM-504 diesel
MM-A4T 1600= Oliver 2655 1970-72 143 pto hp 585-D also = White Plainsman

The MM and Oliver models G955 and G1355 are hybrid tractors, MM engines and Oliver from the bell housing back. The three speed in each gear Oliver over/under hydrostatic drive transmissions were highly touted. This gave the tractors 18 forward speeds. Some people have had rear end trouble in the G-1355 models, however others swear by the Oliver differentials known for their toughness. There were fewer MM G-955s sold than G-1355s. The Oliver serial numbering system was used. Production and Serial Numbers for the two models are as follows:

M-M G955 Serial numbers

1973 239825-243262 (3,438 units produced in 1973)
1974 244559-251357 (6,799 units produced in 1974)
Total (10,237 units produced)

M-M G1355 Serial numbers

1973 236440-244184 (7,745 units produced in 1973)
1974 245258-252710 (7,453 units produced in 1974)
Total (15,199 units produced)

M-M G955, 1973-74 = Oliver G-955 MM-451cid 98 pto hp = White 1870, 1973-74
M-M G1355, 1973-74 = Oliver G-1355 MM-585cid 142 hp = White 2270, 1972-75

The M-M 1355 was painted red and sold in Canada as the Cockshutt 2270 and as the White 2270. Offered with different sheet metal and silver gray color, the White Field Boss 2-150 (1975-1976) is mechanically the same as the MM G-1355. The Oliver 2255 (1972-76) is the same as the MM G1355 from the bell housing and back, but it has the Oliver cast motor cradle with a Caterpillar 573 cid V8 in 1972, & in 1974 was offered with the Cat 636 cid V8 engine.

MM G1355 = Cockshutt 2270, 1972-75 142.6 pto hp also =White 2-150 Field Boss

Oliver imported small Fiat built tractors from 1965-1975 to fill out their small tractor line. White sold the same two diesel imports made by Fiat of Italy as Oliver, Cockshutt, MM, and White. They were sold as MM in 1971 only and as the White 1270 and White 1370 after the MM, Oliver and Cockshutt names were dropped. The 4-wheel drive models are somewhat rare and if in good shape sell for up to $7000. Parts are hard if not impossible to get. These were:

M-M G350 (1971 only) = Oliver 1265 (1971-75)=Cockshutt 1265 41 pto hp 3-cylinder
M-M G450 (1971 only) = Oliver 1365 (1971-75)=Cockshutt 1365 54 pto hp 4-cylinder
