i have a 1962 or 63 540 i need to know if transmission,diffirental and pto all run off the same gear oil? also where is the full mark ?where do you fill them? thank you very much in advance.
Yes they do. There is a fill plug in the PTO housing (upper right I believe) and the level should be check by removing the plug that is about half way up on the side of the transmission housing (left side I believe without going out to check). Level should be up to bottom of the transmission plug hole.
