Block heater for Cockshutt 30

I am looking for advice on warming up the engine of my Cockshutt 30 before starting it (it's about to get very cold up here). There is very little space to put in a standard heater in the lower radiator hose. It's basically all metal with a small hose connecting the two parts. I suppose it could always be modified or I could use one of those magnetic heaters sold in hardware stores, but before doing that I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of a Cockshutt 30 (gas)  with a "real" block heater, the one inserted in one of the freeze plugs.

Thanks

Daniel
