I recently acquired a 1947 Co-op E3 and thought the clutch action works well I can't get over how much the clutch pedal/lever can move from side to side....in looking at it there appears to be a need for a bushing inserted to tighten up the pedal and eliminate the side to aide movement ability...any thoughts on how I can get thsi done and also, how does one remove this pedal....???
You will have to remove the clutch pedal from the shaft before you can tell whether the shaft is wore or the pedal!!! If the clutch pedal bore is wore then you will need to find a bushing, hone it out to fit bushing. Wont do any good if the shaft is wore!!
