I bought a co-op tractor recently and was told that it was a 1936 number two model. The serial number on the engine is T573454. Is there any info I can get from the serial number? Thanks.
Your tractor sure looks like a 1936 Co-op 2. These tractors, built in the late 30's does not have a serial #plate. The serial # is stamped in the left frame rail, distributor side. It is just back from the radiator it will have a 2 then a star then the number. It looks like your tractor has been painted so the serial # might be hard to see. The number you gave is the serial number for the engine, I believe.
