We have a CO-OP E4 Tractor that we are wanting to get rid of. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the year it was made and a fair price for the unit. It has been parked in a barn since the last time it was used. I was able to turn the engine last time I tried which was about 6 months ago. Any information would be much appreciated.
thanks

Go to the Technical Articles section there is an Article on Serial Number Locations and how to read then. Your tractor would be the same as a Cockshutt 40.
i seen an e-3 on yesterdays tractor straight metal runs tires hold air looks pretty decent for 1200 still on there check it out e-3/30 was more common though just search around and find ones for sale similar to yours and go from there its hard to price someone elses tractor too many variables to price from pics wouldnt wana tell you too little or too much and never sell it over bad advice just look around and come up with a price YOU can live with 3pt. and pto and p/s make a lot of difference too
