i am nearly ready to paint the tin on my 570 so i am also ready to have decals made.i know i can buy them but i can have them made in my hometown for nearly the cost of just having them mailed from the states.the problem i have is i dont have any info on the decals except the ones on the side of the hood.i have a 570 wheatland gas with a hercules 6 cyl. in particular i am looking for a description and location of any warning decals and or operation decals Hercules engine decals.the decal that goes on the throttle lever mount etc.you guys were really helpful on helping me build a hub puller.can any one help me again on decals and locations??Len
If you get your decals from Keith McClure at cockshuttdecals.com they will come with a "map" of where they go. They are also the most correct and authentic decals available. Do you want to have an accurate restoration or do you want to save a couple bucks......
not that concerned about true authenticity.painted my 570 a little darker cream cause i didnt like the original..its all very close but i am not a purist so i will probably save 100.00 just on decals.also dont like the colors on the original cockshutt decals on the side of the hood so might change em up just a bit to go with the saddle colored seat i am apholstering
