I found some pictures from my grandfather"s antique tractor auction in southwestern Minnesota on Sept. 6, 1997. This was a rather unique tractor, so I am gonna assume I might get some feedback on this tractor. I remember it as a 1957 Cockshutt 35 with Schwartz wide front end. Although this was a chore tractor that fed cattle for years in the feedlot, I will never forget the paint job as my grandfather was furious when he got it back years ago. He wanted it done in "original" colorsmeaning the original Cockshutt colors. The guy who painted it painted it in Oliver colors shortly after the merger/buy out. I remember it being a great tractor that never had any troubles. On the coldest mornings in southern Minnesota, it never failed to start. Once it went into retirement, us grandkids drove it around the farm yard, occasionally using it to move hogs from building to building and pulling hay racks from the field to the barn yard.
As any curious grandkid, I would love to know where this tractor landed and would appreciate any information that can be shared. I am not looking to purchase the machine because I don"t have the finances to even talk about it. I just am curous as to it"s whereabouts. If I cannot gather any information on it, so be it as it was worth a try. Thank you all for your time and consideration. Aaron
