550-560-570 tachometer

I sent a couple to a repair shop in Chicago several years ago they did a great job. Only problem was the face plate was in bad shape on one they cleaned it the best they could and put a coat of sealer on it. I'll have to look and see if I have find their information. I have thought about try to get some vinyl stickers made of the faceplates to use when one is rusted up bad. I did find this repair shop you might want to give them a call.

Has anyone ever found a source for internal parts for a Cockshutt mechanical tach? Or know who made them originally? I see reproduction tachs for sale on E-bay and other vendors and wonder if they could be adapted to use in a Cockshutt. Has any one ever investigated this???????????
