This is my first Cockshutt not informed much about Cockshutts. I have several other tractors I have collected., but i'm sure i'll have more Cockshutts if I can find them. I'll need all the help I can get. This web site will sure help. A lot of work went into this site. Keep going . P.S. don't know if I told you but Agri-services is building my wiring harness as we speek. thanks for everything I'll call you I'm not good at the computer this is my wife doing this for me. I do better on the phone. But when we need parts and info we use the computer and wish this sit had been here sooner keep it going.
Thanks Jim, I have felt for a long time there was a need for a place where Cockshutt Lover's could get together and share information and war stories of restoration projects.
Glad to have you onboard Glen. That's what this place is all about Cockshutt people helping each other. One thing I have found out when talking to other Cockshutt Lovers is that they have a passion for Cockshutt equipment and are some of the friendliest, caring and warmhearted people, that will go out of their way to help someone!

Thanks Irv, As we progress we can add sections and remove ones that don't seem to be needed. I have been thinking about adding a Tech section to list tech article's and cross reference list such as Bearings, Seals, Filters etc. Something I have planned to add to the permanent page when I get it done. I put this one together quick trying to sell the idea to the Club but they felt they didn't want to move in this direction at this time. So for now we can use this one until I get the permanent site up and running. I will send all who have registered here the new link when it is ready.
Great looking site. Just wondering if there are many ICCI members on here. I became a member earlier this year. Should be great help anyways. Just acquird a cockshutt 60 standard. looks like a good restoration project. Dont know a whole bunch about cockshutts hopefully this site can clue me in some more. Thanks Lyle
As I struggle through jobs and projects on my equipment, I find that trial and error is a common but tedious way to get educated on this old iron. As I visit other sites I see some people post series of pictures while doing their projects and viewers will respond in the thread about other possible approaches. That 'project' thread becomes an education to all who view it.
So I'm wondering whether you think a section on Education might be useful? This may involve getting educated on Cockshutt History, Workshop Projects, or Maintenance Ideas. Many people may have only one or two Cockshutt items and may have little knowledge of the Cockshutt background. Of course this will involve us members being willing to contribute our pictures, ideas, questions and problems we face.
Hello Joe, I think this forum is going to be fun. Looks like a lot of information out there that we can all use. I have a couple of tractors myself, although they are the Oliver built ones from the 30's and 40's. I also like the idea of posting a thread of what I'm up to, and it could be as simple as having a section for that. Also would be cool to have a "yard, garden and property" section so we can all so who we are and what we have been doing to facilitate tractor rebuilding, or what we've done with our rebuilt tractors...
